2023 was a big year for AI. From the number of companies that have been started to the vast amounts of capital the big guns have invested and the number of Governments and Lawsuits involved, it’s safe to say that the AI Landscape will be the Wild West for a long time to come.
In this edition, we start out with a rather large news piece; The NY Times lawsuit against Microsoft and OpenAI. The implications of this lawsuit are far reaching beyond just the dollar values it could cost. The precedent it will set and the decisions made could lay some interesting groundwork.
